Program description

Messages are used for individual sales inquiries, customer care, technical support, scheduling, service coordination, and replies requested by customers. Helpresso does not use this program for unsolicited mass advertising.

Consent and opt-in

You opt in by initiating an SMS conversation with (312) 847-4848, by expressly asking Helpresso to respond or follow up with you through SMS, or by providing a mobile number and affirmatively selecting the optional SMS-consent checkbox on Helpresso’s website contact form. By doing so, you consent to receive messages from Helpresso that relate to your inquiry, request, or customer relationship.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. Submitting the website contact form without selecting its separate SMS-consent checkbox does not enroll you in Helpresso Customer Care Messaging.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies according to your conversation and requests. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s message, data, and other rates and terms govern your use of its network.

Opt out and help

Helpresso will honor recognized opt-out requests. After you opt out, we may send one confirmation message and will not send further messages through this program unless you initiate a new conversation or provide new consent. You may also request help by emailing [email protected] or calling (312) 847-4848.

Delivery and carrier availability

Message delivery is subject to wireless-carrier availability, network conditions, device compatibility, and other factors outside Helpresso’s control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS is not guaranteed to be timely or secure; do not use SMS for emergencies or send passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive credentials by text.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and be the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number used to communicate with Helpresso. The program is intended for recipients in the United States with a supported mobile number.

Acceptable use

You may not use the program to send unlawful, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, infringing, malicious, or unsolicited content; interfere with the messaging service; impersonate another person; or attempt to compromise Helpresso’s systems or those of a service provider. We may suspend messaging with a number when reasonably necessary to prevent misuse, fraud, security threats, or legal violations.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and includes specific protections for mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the messaging program is provided “as is” and “as available.” Helpresso does not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free delivery. To the extent permitted by law, Helpresso will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the messaging program. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the program, our practices, carrier requirements, or applicable law. We will post revised terms on this page and update the effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. If you do not agree to revised terms, reply STOP to discontinue messages.
